Bound volume containing all 34 annual reports issued by the St. Louis, Vandalia & Terre Haute Railroad Company - actually only 33 reports, as the first two years were issued as a single report. The company was organized in 1870, and was consolidated with other railroads on 1 January 1905 to become the Vandalia Railroad.
Hardcover bound volume. Complete with all reports from 1870 through 1904. All reports were bound with their cover sheets. Filled with all kinds of data on the operation of the railroad, including number of passengers, passenger miles, revenue, tonnage by classification (grain, flour, livestock, dressed meats, cement and brick, etc,), roster of equipment, etc.
Condition
Binding and contents in great shape. The only ownership markings are company rubberstamp marks and signed names on the covers of the constituent annual reports.
