This auction features a fantastic piece of Chinese woodblock art by the renowned Shen Minyi (沈民义) of the Suzhou School. It is quite large, the margins are 17" by 12.25" (cm by cm) and is dated 1987 in excellent, unframed condition. It is sealed inside of a vinyl envelope on top of a piece of hard plastic cardboard, ready for a frame and matte.
It is a very nice piece, his style is reminiscent of some of the most acclaimed and successful Japanese Shin-Hanga artists of previous decades, such as Clifton Karhu and Ray Morimura. His work is very impressive, t
