Antique Chinese Export Hand Painted Scroll Fan Shaped
features
fan shaped leaf masterfully hand painted with traditional Chinese landscape and sitting man in ancient Chinese clothing.
The painting wasn't observed without frame/glass,
so appears to be
(not for sure) very delicate silk attached to the cardboard,
or may be hand painting was done directly on the cardboard base... please, examine all photos for details.
At some point the piece was professionally mounted ( in later time by a previous owner) into the high-end gilded wooden frame with
brown textured lining inside, rounded corners, glass and paper on the back.
Circa: late 19th Century, Late Qing Dynasty.
Measurements approximately, taken form outside over the glass:
Total size of the framed item: 24 7/8" x 15 7/8" x 1 /34".
Size of the hand painted fan only: 19" side to side x 7 1/2" top to bottom.
The item is heavy.
Weight: about 5 lbs 9 oz UNBOXED & UNWRAPPED

AS PICTURED. The case was not opened. The painting was examined from outside, under the glass.
