    Book Biographies of Twelve Chinese Great Scholars Illustrations on Silk c 1910
    Rare Chinese concertina-style book on handmade paper with fine color illustrations for each scholar and text opposite in English and Chinese. Illustrations are original watercolor drawings on silk with cream ribbon borders. Scholars (not all pictured) are Yang Kwei-Shan, Li Chung-Ting, Chu Wen-ung, Su Wen-Chung, Su Wen-Ting, Li Tai-Pai, Han Wen-Kung, Pai Wen-Kudg, Yeu Chung-Chieb, Major General Wang, Chan Hsi-Shan, Tiger Head Koo. First Edition, slight curve to boards, internally and externally clean, book in very good condition, wooden boards with Chinese symbol in green on front.
    Dimensions:  Closed the book is 8 1/2" x 6" x 3/4". 0.7 pounds.
