    Description

    **
This store is where an old collector of Chinese paintings offers for sale items that he finds interesting, beautiful and thought-provoking.
Each buyer is invited to use his/her judgment as to the probability of authenticity of the items - that is where the fun of collecting is
    .
    **
This anonymous calligraphy is a freehand copy of the Huaisu Autobiography in the National Palace Museum (NPM) in Taipei, itself a copy of the Tang Dynasty
    "wild cursive" calligraphy
masterpiece. The NPM version is considered by scholars to be a tracing copy of the long lost original. The present one would then be a freehand copy of a tracing copy! My guess is that it is the work of
one of the rare accomplished masters of this art active in
the 20th Century, capable of recreating his/her model with a great deal of skill and spontaneity.
There are many seals, including imperial ones (most probably spurious).
