This is a signed Elton John Atlanta Braves authentic Wilson jersey size 40 with all logos, numbers and nameplate embroidered.
This was purchased on June 3, 1996 in Atlanta, GA at Elton's Closet event at Neiman Marcus in Lenox Square Mall.  I personally attended the preview party on Monday night, June 3rd where Elton was in attendance.  I purchased a large amount of items including stage worn suits, shoes, hats as well as other clothing that was being sold.  I will be listing some of these items over the next several months.  Elton used to hold these events to benefit his Aids Foundation in the 1990s and sold his personal items, many are one of a kind like this jersey.
THIS JERSEY WAS PRESENTED TO ELTON JOHN BY THE ATLANTA BRAVES BETWEEN 1991 and EARLY 1996.
There were a few other jerseys for sale from teams that gave them to him when he played venues that had sports teams, but this was the only jersey I bought because it was signed and looked beautiful.  It has been hanging in my closet for the last 25 years.

Jersey is in excellent condition other than a few small spots on the inside collar as shown in the photos.  They were there when I bought the jersey in 1996.  I've attached a photo of my invite/ticket for the preview party (Invite not included, as it's my only one and in my personal collection of Elton items)
