    19th Century Chinese Reverse Glass Painting
    Beautifully painted winter landscape scene depicting noblemen arriving at the home of a Philosopher and being greeting at the door by a servant. A winter scene of a frozen body of water and a pagoda is the background.
    Dimensions of Glass Painting: 26 ½” Width x 18” Height
    Dimensions with Framing:
    28” Width x 20” Height
    Painting Condition:
    Excellent.
    Glass Condition – Fair: The glass is cracked and 1 piece is missing. (see photos) A separate piece of glass was installed in the frame over the entire painting on original glass, which keeps the original painted glass intact.
