120-Volt hardwired alarm with 9-volt battery backup
Designed to supplement smoke alarm installation
Fixed rate and rate of rise temperature sensing allows the unit to alarm prior to reaching the fixed temperature setting of 135°F
Ideal placement includes garages, crawl spaces, bathrooms, laundry rooms, or other spaces not suitable for smoke alarm installations
Alarm senses heat and will sound when the temperature reaches 135°F or when a rate of rise of 15°F per minute is sensed allowing you faster response to a potential fire
Single button test and silence
Latching alarm indicator remembers which unit initiated an alarm
Ability to interconnect up to 18 devices, of which 12 can be smoke alarms
Pins are provided to lock the battery drawer and/or alarm to base
