    Description

    **
This store is where an old collector of Chinese paintings offers for sale items that he finds interesting, beautiful and thought-provoking.
Each buyer is invited to use his/her judgment as to the probability of authenticity of the paintings - that is where the fun of collecting is
    .
    **
Attributed to Wang Yachen, these four scrolls are teeming with movement and colour, with fish and aquatic plants in red, black, green, brown and yellow strokes happily contrasting on a white background. The simplicity and freshness of their appearance is quite a joyful sight, rarely achieved except maybe in some of Qi Baishi's works. They are as vivid as if they were just captured in the eye of the artist. The artist used the boneless" technique - the use of washes of colour without outlines
"first created and theorized by Zhang Sengyou of the Liang Dynasty in 557 during the Southern dynasties period."
