NS Soldatenbund "Elbe" Officers' Cuff Title

Description

This is a NS Soldatenbund "Elbe" (Staff) Cuff Title (NS Soldatenbund Armelband "Elbe" fur Mitarbeiter und Mitglieder der Beratergruppen). This woven cuff title in on a dark blue/black background with crossed swords to either side of the script for former servicemen in WW I. It is bordered on both the top and button in silver flat-wire threads (meaning they worked on the staff or were members of the advisory groups). The cuff title is full length and measuring 1.25" (32 mm) x 13.5" (34.29 cm), the ends hemmed on the reverse, extremely fine. I purchased it in 2006 from Detlev Niemann Orden Militaria.
NOTE: There were three levels to the cuff title rank structure. Cuff titles with gold threads for leaders, silver/aluminum flat-wire for staff and members of the advisory groups, and finally silver/gray threads for association members of general members.
