Description
Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this fine pair of antique Chinese framed scroll paintings. The paintings each feature a beautiful landscape scene with mountains and pine trees done in fine detail and color. The watercolors are painted on a heavier or coarse type of silk that you can see the thread lines, especially the vertical ones. Both are signed with Chinese character marks and red chops or seals as shown. They are in matching, gold painted, wood frames with paper backing. The backing is torn on one along the side where you can see the material is wrapped around the back about 4 1/2" longer on the bottom edge and you can feel it along the top edge also, about 5 more inches which would make then a total of 34".
CONDITION - The paintings are in very fine, antique, pre-owned condition! Some normal age, well cared for, colors are good, no fading or discoloration, frames are good, a few minor bumps, one has a split/crack along the bottom edge, paper backing is torn one is worse than the other and has been taped.

- Outside frame approximately 24 3/4" by 15 3/4", inside frame is 24 1/4' by 15 1/4", image area is 16" by 13 1/8"
