My Tools Won't Connect to the Wand?
We suggest checking that the brass ring has not been lost. If the brass ring is missing, the tool will not tighten onto the wand. The floor tool should stay attached to the wand when attached correctly. To attach the floor tool, be sure that the brass ring is intact with the threaded nut on the end of the wand, then align the brass ring with the groove on the floor tool to ensure a secure fit.
To place the floor tool in the wand: loosen the nut slightly and push the floor tool into the wand, with a downward pressure on the floor tool, tighten the nut. No need to overtighten. You should now be able to pull on the floor tool and it will stay in the wand, but floor tool will be able to spin freely.

To change an attachment, turn the nut to loosen and the floor tool should come out.
What do I do if I have reduced suction or suspect a clog in my ProTeam Backpack Vacuum?
The most common reason for reduced performance is a clogged filter. Please check the condition of your filter as it may need to be cleaned or replaced.
The hose may have holes or could be clogged. Please check the condition of your hose and clean or replace if necessary.
The wand may be clogged - disconnect the wand from the hose and inspect the inside of the wand for clogs
The floor tool may be clogged - disconnect the floor tool from the wand and check for debris or hair stuck in the brush and check the inside neck of the tool for possible blockage
Our vacuums are equipped with a safety feature which will automatically turn off the motor to prevent overheating and damage to motor when there is a reduction in air flow. Air flow reduction is caused by clogs and/or a dirty or full filter.
The environment and type of debris being vacuumed will determine the frequency of filter maintenance.

ProTeam backpack vacuums come with an adjustable harness. Read below to learn how to adjust it. The harness should be comfortable. Standing up straight will make wearing the vacuum more comfortable.
Loosen the shoulder straps and the waist belt. Lift the vacuum and slide your arms through the straps.
Connect the waist strap.
Tighten the waist belt. It is very important that the weight of the unit be focused on your hips rather than your shoulders
Adjust the shoulder straps so that the unit fits comfortably, but the weight is still concentrated on your hips.
Connect the sternum strap.
Slide the buckle up or down the strap for best fit.
Thread the extension cord through the Shulte Cord Holder on the waistbelt
Do not tie extension cord and power cord together. Doing so will result in damage to both cords.
