You are viewing a beautiful sculpture signed A. Santini.  It is made from a compound of marble, alabaster and resin that is mixed and then poured into a mold, then hand finished.  It produces a material that is cold and heavy, like stone.  The artist, A. Santini, was a sculptor who was born in Florence, Italy in 1910.  His company reproduced sculptures molded from his original designs, and those of several other artists.
The sculpture features a full sized cockatoo.  It is a substantial piece, measuring 15.5" high and weighing almost 9 lbs.  It will be packaged with care and shipped with your choice of UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail.
